About Course
Production involves the creation and recording of content for broadcasts on radio, TV, online and/or as podcasts. These production courses are designed both for the beginner and practicing programme or content producer.
The courses are designed to provide participants with insight into the skills, tools, practices and language of programme or content production for various platforms.
While emphasis is on the production of radio programmes, the courses will also deal with other platforms such as TV and online. Participants will have hands-on experience with the theory, techniques and practices of programme production, audio recording, editing, mixing, and aural storytelling techniques.
It will include a basic knowledge and understanding of radio business and production, branding a station or person/institution through programming, best production formats, development programming, environment programing, political programming, etc.
Format:
Production courses are about 6 short and long courses.
Theory and practical sessions … Direct experience is gained through internships with WABMA® partner radio/TV stations.
